 第一幕第一场 (城中)
口白：There was a law in the city of Athens which gave to its citizens the power of forcing their daughters to marry whomever they pleased. For if a daughter refused to marry the man her father had chosen to be her husband, the father might by thus law cause her to be put to death.
 

Helena上场
Helena: Hello! Hermia.
Hermia: I’m so glad to see you, my friend!
Helena: But Demetrious love you. Oh, tech me how to attract his eyes, please?
Hermia: Take comfort, he no more shall see my face. Tomorrow night Lysander and myself will fly this place. We'll meet in the wood. Please pray for us and don’t tell others, good-bye! (下)
Helena: I will go tell Demetrious of fair Hermia’s flight, and then he’ll pursue her. I just want to have his sight again.
 
第二幕第一场 (森林中)
口白：The wood was a favorite meeting-place of those little, beings known by the name of fairies. Between this little king and green of spirits there happened, at this time, a sad disagreement.
 
Oberon: Fetch me the flower which maids call Love in Idleness; the juice of that little purple flower, laid on the eyelids of those who sleep, will make them, when they awake, love madly the first thing they see. And before I will take this charm from off her sight, which I can do with another charm I know of, I will make her give that boy to be my slave. Puck: I’ll do that very well. Believe me. (下)
Oberon: But who comes here? I am invisible. And I will overhear their conference.

 

Demetrious和 Helena 上
Demetrious: I don't love you at all, so you don't pursue me. Where are Lysander and fair Hermia? You told me they are there, but I can't meet my Hermia. Go away and follow me no more. Helena: You draw me, you hard-hearted adamant.
Demetrious: Do I speak you fair? Tell you, I do not, nor I cannot love you. 
Helena: And even for that do I love you the more. Please let me follow you even I am like your dog.
Demetrious: I am sick when I do look on you!
Helena: And I am sick when I look not on you.
Demetrious: Let me go. Cause I’m so hate you! (下)
 
Helena: Don’t leave me alone. Please stay, though you kill me. (下)
Oberon: The poor girl! I have to help her. Welcome, wanderer, has you get the flower? (Puck上)
Puck: Ay, there it is.
Oberon: Thank you, my cute spirit. Take a part of this flower: there has been a sweet lady here, who is in love with a cruel youth. If you find him sleeping, drop some of the lovejuice in his eyes. But see that you do it when he awakes maybe this lady. You will know the man by the Athenian garments he wears. Puck: Don’t worry, my lord, your servant shall do so. (两人同下)

Lysander: I don’t love her at all. For me, she is just a black raven, and you are a white dove.
Helena: Oh! Why was I born to be mocked and though nothing of by everyone? Is it not enough, young man? That a lady, of one man refused, should of another be so abused! (下)
 
I watched the play yesterday. But unfortunately my wife's class got last prize.(吐舌) Some parts really string my heart. God, Please tell me, why I always attract his friends???

《house》好像已经做到炉火纯青的地步了。而这一集，在讲了好的故事的基础上，又特别地搞笑。 
几乎没什么铺垫，剧中人的情感风向标就都有了不小的改变。为了配合chase和cameron剧外的恋爱关系，《house》的最近几集就一直在为二人的“情感戏”做铺垫。而这一集则更是使cameron说出了：“I am over house。”而与house的结束，也许就意味着与chase的新的开始，当然是从简单的性关系开始。
不说剧外，只说剧内吧。cameron的单纯的性观念没有任何情感指向，甚至纯粹得可以不近情理，对chase像哄一个小孩子。但是就是这种对纯粹的性的愉悦的追求，反而更增添了她的魅力。chase眼中的cameron的迷人之处，也许在于她那对性的坦诚的态度，那么无羁，那么忘我，那么纯粹，以至chase禁不住地被吸引，一次又一次地答应cameron冒险的性爱请求。没有真正的情感渴望，却可以投入地去享受性爱的愉悦，你很难说，那是种不合理的情感或性。也许，性爱的魅力之一，就在于它的纯粹，它的生命感，它的无法言说的美妙。在这样的性爱面前，情感无从选择，甚至四处逃遁。
摆脱了情感羁绊的性，也许更彻底地使人回归了自我，释放了自我。你能说，自信、挑逗的cameron不具有着别样的魅力？
foreman在嘲笑cameron和chase无论如何都不可能嘿咻的情节，简直使人暴笑到了极点。回看的时候，依旧无法摆脱foreman嘲笑的那种真实，仿佛chase连同观众都怀疑，cameron和chase的性爱事实是否真的存在过。chase对此的吃惊、不满，cameron的狡猾，都淹没在foreman无比搞笑的嘲笑声里。哈哈哈（还是忍不住要再笑）。
从病人出现在house的梦中开始，这集似乎就在讲述house与cuddy的秘密情感过往。两年前两人的一次约会，突然就使house对cuddy“旧情难忘”。这也许是为了配合cameron和chase即将发生的情感故事，为此埋下伏笔吧。house惊人的记忆力，连同他对医学的痴迷和顽固，都在这一集完好地结合到一起。而关于维可丁，依然在发挥它在剧中的叙事魔力，对house的折磨换成了另一种搞笑的方式。无论如何，看到house在cuddy面前“甘拜下风”，都让粉丝们大呼过瘾，因为house情感的小把柄并不那么容易被抓到。在被cuddy揭穿了小伎俩，house的辩驳意外地如此无力，而cuddy的笑容和离去的身姿却是如此自信、洒脱，那甚至是美丽。过往的一夜情，似乎成了一个想像中的美梦，成就了如此这般充满个性和魅力的男人与女人。
搞笑一直贯穿全剧始终，甚至是结尾的那个在垃圾室中被house逮个正着的男欢女爱。cameron的表情是如此坦然，因为她已真的放弃；chase还沉浸在性的欢快与尴尬当中；而house，那个沉稳、老练、狡猾的house，终于可以放下略微沉重的负担（cameron所曾经施加于他的情感负担），轻松地回到独自一人的世界中，没有任何情感的期待，有的只是幻想。
一夜情的性也好，无法遏止的性也罢；与情感有关的性也好，无关的也罢。也许，这一集的《house》并不是要讲述情感与性本身，而是使这些工作狂的神医们在病人和案例之余，回归了普通人的正常与生活吧。
